Poetry
We are drawn to poetry that creates space on the page, in the imagination and sometimes beyond both. Poetry that notices what others might pass by: a change of light, a silence between two people, a season turning, a private grief, a moment of unexpected beauty.
Whisper Éditions welcomes work rooted in nature, intimacy, memory, and the inner life, as well as poetry that responds to the world around us. A contemporary event may provide the subject; what matters is the poet’s individual way of feeling and transforming it.
We particularly value poets whose creative practice moves across disciplines towards image, illustration, film, sound or immersive work. For us, a poem doesn't necessarily end when the page does.
Whether spare or lyrical, playful or contemplative, the poetry we publish should be clear, emotionally resonant, and voiced in a way that belongs to no one else.
